Never be afraid to start out small. To not know what to do, to fall short, to make mistakes. Never be afraid to be a beginner. To ask for help, to admit that you don’t know everything, to accept that there’s a lot that you need to learn. Never be afraid to start at the bottom because the bottom opens more doors for learning. Starting at the bottom teaches you to appreciate every part of the process as you move slowly from level to level. Starting at the bottom allows you to mold yourself into someone who deserves the top. Most of all, when you reached the top and one day you suddenly fell back to the ground, it won’t hurt that much —because you already know how it feels to be there and what exactly you should do to soar again.
